NOTE
• Do not press the super-steam button too many times consecutively. Observe pauses
of some seconds between one operation and the following one.

• Keep an adequate distance between the fabric and the iron soleplate in order to avoid
burns.
• Use this function only on clothes hung on clothes hangers. Do not try to iron
clothes if they are worn by a person: the steam is very hot, you could cause
serious burn injuries.
The iron is supplied with a self-cleaning system which allows limestone
deposits to be reduced. To obtain full benefit from this system, carry out
this operation regularly at least once a month.
Do as follows:
• Set the dry ironing function.
• Fill the tank up to the MAX level (13).
• Run the iron regularly, bringing the plate to the maximum temperature.
• Disconnect the plug from the socket when the iron is ready.
• Keeping the self-cleaning button (14) pressed, shake the iron in a horizontal position,
over a sink or a basin. Let the tank empty. The water-steam mixture will remove some
of the limestone residues in the plate.
• Connect the plug to the socket and, moving the iron over an old cloth, remove all the
residual water in the plate.
WARNING
!
Do not come into contact with the water coming out of the soleplate, since it is
very hot and could cause burns.
NOTE:
Before using the iron again, pass the cold soleplate on a dry cotton cloth.
• Disconnect the plug from the power outlet.
• Empty the tank.
• Always set the steam control dial (4) to the “0” position.
• Let the iron cool down.
• Wind the cord around the rear part of the appliance.
• Place the iron in a vertical position.
