Heating at full power (2000W)
The light at the front will turn on.
Itis most economical to heatthe space atfullpower, then to switch to half power to
maintain the temperature.
•
Both at halfand fullpower, the fan rotates at thesame speed;thedifference
between the two lies in the number ofheating elements in use.
•
Once thedesired temperature is reached, turn the thermostat dialback
slowly unti lyou hear a click. The temperature is now set.Theheater will
automatically switch on and off to maintain the set temperature. When the
heater switches off,the pilot light turns off a swell. To set a higher or lower
temperature, turn the thermostat dialeither clockwise or anticlockwise.
•
Unplug.
SAFETY FEATURES
In case of internal overheating, the overheating safe guard will switch the heater
off. This may occur if the heater cannot give off enough heat or if it cannot drain
enough fresh air. Asmentionedabove, thisisgenerallycaused by(partially) covering
the heater, obstructing the air intake and/or outletgrills or installing the heater too
close to a wall or something similar. When the over heating safeguard switches
the heateroff, set the mode select or dia lto
‘0’(off),unplug
and allow the heater to cool down. Remove and/or amend the
cause of overheating and reuse the heateras normal. Ifyou cannot find a cause
and overheating recurs, stop using the heater, and take it in for inspection/repair.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Keep the heater clean. Deposits of dustand dirt in the appliance are a common
cause of overheating so these should be removed regularly.
Switch off the heater, remove theplug from thesocket and allow the heater to cool
down before cleaning or carrying out maintenance work.
