4.1.3 Using rechargeable batteries
This instrument is NOT intended for use with NiCd or NiMH rechargeable
batteries.
4.1.4 Using an USB mains adapter
You can use this blood pressure monitor using a standard mains adapter with a 5
Vdc / 1000 mA Micro-USB output.
a) Make sure the USB power adapter and cable are not damaged.
b) Plug the Micro-USB connector into the power port on the right side of the blood
pressure monitor.
c) Plug the USB mains adapter into the mains socket.
4.2 System setting
4.2.1 - POWER ON - After inserting the batteries or connecting the power supply
to the appliance, press the START/STOP button for more than 3 seconds, until
only the user (13) or user (12) symbol appears on the display, then
release the START/STOP button (if START/STOP is held down for more than 4
seconds, the appliance switches off normally). From this point you can start to set
the parameters of the blood pressure monitor.
4.2.2 - Setting the User - With the display indicating user (13) or user
(12), press the MEM button to change the selection from user A to user B and
vice versa. When user A is displayed on the screen, pressing the MEM key
changes the selection to user B, when user B is displayed on the screen, pressing
the
MEM key changes the selection to user A.
Once the desired user has been selected, briefly press the START/STOP button
to confirm.
4.2.3 - Setting the Year - as soon as user A or B has been selected, the
appliance automatically switches to the year setting and the screen flashes the
year set in the lower left corner (7).
The starting year is 2019. When the year display flashes, press the
MEM button:
the year will increase by one year with each press; press and hold the MEM
button and it will increase continuously, until 2049, and then return to 2019. When
