Platform Function Manifold
How to bleed the Platform
Function Manifold
Note: Perform this procedure on a firm, level
surface with the machine in the stowed position.
1 Remove the mounting fasteners from the
platform function manifold.

2 platform manifold bracket
3 platform function manifold
4 screw
5 cable track tube weldment
2 Rotate the platform manifold so that the valve
coils are pointed towards the ground.
3 Secure the platform manifold to boom using a
clamp or zip ties.
Component damage hazard.
Hoses can be damaged if they
are kinked or pinched.
4 Turn the key switch to ground control and pull
out the red Emergency Stop button to the on
position.
5 Turn the machine on and allow the engine to
idle for 30 seconds.
6 Press and hold the jib boom up button until
cylinder is at the end of the stroke and hold
the up button for an additional 5 seconds after
the jib boom reaches full stroke.
7 Press and hold the jib boom down button until
cylinder is at the end of the stroke and hold
the down button for an additional 5 seconds
after the jib boom reaches full stroke.
8 Repeat steps 6 and 7 for a total of 5 cycles.
9 Press and hold the platform rotate right button
until the platform rotated to full position and
hold the rotate right button for an additional
5 seconds after the platform rotates full
position.
10 Press and hold the platform rotate left button
until the platform rotated to full position and
hold the rotate left button for an additional
5 seconds after the platform rotates full
position.
11 Repeat steps 9 and 10 for a total of 5 cycles.
12 Turn the machine off.
13 Install the platform manifold.
14 Test the jib boom and platform rotate function
speeds.
