When TR5-Lite is installed on a PC, the 6-pin DC 12 V power input also is

required

even if there

is a power provided through the PCI Express edge connector, as shown in

Figure 1-6

. The 12V DC

input can come from the PC power supply if it supports 6-pin PCIe power source. Without the 12V

DC power from the 6-pin power connector, the TR5-Lite may be damaged due to insufficient power

from the PCIe edge connector when many FPGA resources are used.
