MONO Button
The MONO button provides 2 choices. Pushing the MONO button switches between ei-
ther STEREO or MONO L+R - which is displayed in the lower left of the main screen:
PHASE Button
Pushing the PHASE button changes the absolute phase from 0 degrees to 180 degrees.
Most preamplifiers are in fact phase inverting so it is necessary to invert the phase so
the speaker output is in phase. This can also be accomplished by reversing the polari-
ty of the speaker wire at the speaker terminals. However, it is also not that uncom-
mon to have out of phase recordings so the PHASE button allows for easy phase rever-
sal.
ON/OFF Button
The ON/OFF button turns the Phono 1 ON or OFF when rear power switch in the ON
position. If rear switch is in OFF position then the Phono 1 is not powered.
