STARTING THE MACHINE
1. Sit in the operator seat and fasten the seat
belt. Place foot on the brake pedal.
FOR SAFETY: Do not operate machine
unless all TENNANT and truck manuals
are read and understood.
2. Turn the key to the ON position. Wait until
the preheat indicator light turns off before
attempting to start engine.
3. Check the push button range selector to
make sure it is in the middle N (Neutral)
position.
4. Turn the key clockwise to the START
position to start the engine. Release the key
after the engine starts.
NOTE: Do not operate the starter motor for more
than 15 seconds at a time or after the engine has
started. Allow the starter to cool between starting
attempts or damage to the starter motor may
occur.
