How to Use EDGEVue and EDGECloud

Monitoring with Watch Mode 

EDGEVue’s Watch Mode enables you 
to monitor EDGE modules on an 
ongoing basis, and upload the data to 
the Cloud automatically. When 
activated, Watch Mode displays the 
latest reading for all modules within 
range. 

Requirements for using Watch 
Mode 

1.

 

The module must be programmed, 
and datalogging must be active. 
Modules that are not on a mission 
do not monitor temperature and 
therefore are not concerned by 
Watch Mode 

2.

 

With an iOS mobile device, the 
EDGEVue application must remain 
in the foreground (it must be the 
active application). Android devices 
support applications running as 
background a background task. 

3.

 

Autolock must be turned off on your mobile device so that EDGEVue 
stays open in order to scan nearby modules.
