  Built-in Antenna  

The SC872-A contains built-in RF front-end with integrated GPS antenna, LNA and SAW filter. 

No external antenna is supported.  

In order to optimize antenna performance, it is strongly recommended to design a  

70 mm x 70 mm ground plane around the module into the application PCB.

for details
