Introduction
The DVBS2-QAM Hexa transmodulates the services coming form six satellite
input transponders into six DVB-C channels that can be freely placed in the 46-
862 MHz frequency range (channels C02 - C69 in the CCIR channel table).
The digital transmodulation process starts with the input satellite transponder
demodulation. The Transport Streams are obtained and subsequently
modulated in QAM format. Each output QAM channel is individually placed in
the selected ouput frequency.
Input and output loops can be selected. Input loop provides the satellite signal
to another module when it is enabled, otherwise two independent inputs can
be used.
The output loop in the QAM output allows the mixing of the output signal
between modules in the same subrack, or (when it is disabled) to have a single
QAM output providing a higher output level.
