[1] - ZOOM: Control of the CRT brightness. Pulling the control outward amplifies the picture horizon-
tally (ZOOM).
[2] CRT contrast control.
[3] Control of the sound volume. When pulled out, the variable-tone audible indicator is selected.
When pushed in, the FM/TV demodulation is selected by key [14].
[4] SPAN: In spectrum mode, this key controls the amplitude of the frequency sweep. In the locked posi-
tion, the sweep of the entire band is selected (FULL SPAN), and therefore the dial select does not
operate. In the unlocked position, the variable mode (VAR) is selected and the dial selects the fre-
quency sweep range.
[5] : Output jack for stereo headphones but with monaural sound.
[6] POWER : The ON/OFF switch. A bistable switch: each time it is pressed it switches from ON to
OFF or from OFF to ON.
[7] VIDEO 75

: Normalized signal input of external video at 1 Vpp. 3 Vpp max. level.
The signal present is detected automatically and the monitor is switched for the screen display of the
external video.
