Configuration can be copied to backup device automatically.
This reduces the risk that configuration differs on main and
backup devices and also reduces users work,
the command is:
redundance.sh update_cfg
Following files are copied from
/teleste/etc/
folder:
•
.brilscsrc
•
.brilppvrc
•
.brilemmrc
•
.brilctrlrc
•
.sigenrc
•
si.conf
•
bril.conf
•
startup.bril.conf
Update has to be run every time the configuration is altered on
the main BRILLANTE. Otherwise when take-over occurs
backup will use old configuration and some services might be
lost. It will also generate a backup of the old configuration to
/teleste/backup/.
It will only backup those files that
have been modified since the last time
update_cfg
was run.
User can always restore the normal backup operation with:
redundance.sh restore
