How to establish an intercom connection
After installating and connecting the components you can establish an
intercom connection
ONLY BY ENGINE ROOM TELEPHONE
.
There are the following possibilities:
1. Intercom connection with last used speech unit and with standard
communication time:

Off-hook your engine room telephone

lift emergency phone NRT is called automatically

NRT connects, answers with a single beep tone and after further
seconds voice connection will be etablished.
In this case the last used speech unit is selected and the maximum
communication time equals the communication time set in the NRT

If the communication time expires, the NRT disconnects

On-hook your engine room telephone
A new intercom connection may be established again as described.
2. Intercom connection with selectable speech unit and maximum
communication time:

Off-hook your engine room telephone
-
lift emergency phone NRT is called automatically
-
NRT connects and answers with a single beep tone
-
now enter access code (default: 0000) immediately
-
the correct access code will be acknowledged by a single beep
tone. You are in lift phone’s programming mode now

NRT enters extended voice connection with maximum
communication time (30 minutes)

You may select the active speech unit by key 1, 4 or 7
