User’s Guide MSA2
Lift Intercom System (MSA2)
These system provides an intercom connection between a telephone in the
engine room an the lift emergency system NRT in the cabine.
This is very helpful e.g. while maintenance or installation works.
The MSA2 comes in a plastic housing with integrated power supply.
There are several connectors in the lower part of the MSA2 (see picture 1),
TAE-connectors for lift phone and telephone, selector switch and modular
connector for telephone line.
•
Connect your telephone line (public telephone line or PABX) with either
modular connector or the 2-pin connector right of them.
•
Connect your engine room telephone set with connector TAE1.
•
Connect the lift emergency call telephone NRT with either TAE2 or with
the 2-pin connector left of them.
•
The selector switch is if the communication time between engine room
telephone and lift phone is restricted to 30 minutes or not.
If switch is ON, communication time is restricted to 30 minutes.
After that time a emergency call is possible, even if the engine room
telephone is not on-hook.
A renewed connection between engine room telephone to lift phone
may established by on-hook and off-hook of the engine room
telephone.
If switch is OFF, there is no communication time limit, which may cause
an always busy line by the MSA2.
