Utilization of the product
If you want to dispose of this product, do not
mix it with general household waste. There is a
separate collection system for used electronic
products in accordance with legislation that
requires proper treatment, recovery and
recycling.
Please contact your local authorities for
the correct method of disposal. By doing so,
you will ensure that your disposed product
undergoes the necessary treatment, recovery
and recycling and thus prevent potential
negative effects on the environment and
human health.
Important safeguards
• The instruction manual contains important
operating and maintenance instructions. For
your safety, it is necessary to refer to the
manual. Keep the manual for future use.
• Do not hit or drop the unit.
• Do not open the invert
o
r yourself under any
circumstances. The invert
o
r is not designed for
self-repair. If the invert
o
r fails, stop using it and
contact the service center.
•
To prevent fire or electric shock do not leave
the invertor in the rain, or in places with high
humidity.
•
You can use the invertor while the car
engine is running or off, but
switch
off the
invertor when the engine starts.
•
Do not connect equipment that has more
power than indicated on the packaging and
documentation of the inverter.
•
Put the plug into the cigarette lighter socket
as far as it will go. Poor contact may cause the
plug to melt
.
•
Before connecting the invertor to power
220 V devices, we recommend to familiarize
yourself with the technical characteristics of
the vehicle's power plants (battery capacity,
generator output current).
•
When disconnecting the invertor cable, pull
it by the plug, not by the cord.
•
When the voltage of the car battery
decreases to 10V, the invertor generates an
audible signal, which means that the on-
board network voltage has fallen below the
permissible value, in this case stop using the
invertor, otherwise it will automatically turn
off
the power and keep the car battery from
full
discharge when its voltage drops up to
10V.
To protect the car battery from
discharging,
we recommend to start the car
engine every
2-3 hours to recharge the
battery (at the time
of starting the engine the
invertor must be
switched off).
•
The cigarette lighter socket of your car
should have a plus in the center and minus
around the edges. The invertor can only be
used in a car with negative body polarity, if
your car has positive polarity, the invertor
cannot be used. If you directly connected the
invertor to the car battery 12V and mixed the
polarity, the invertor fuse will
blow out
.
•
During operation, the invertor will heat up.
This is normal. To avoid overheating of the
invertor, provide a proper air circulation to
remove heat.
•
Please avoid using
extension
cords
longer
than
10
meters
for AC 220V output and
longer than 0.5 meters for DC 12V input, as it
may lead to voltage decline
.
•
A blown fuse should be replaced with a
similar one (see technical data). A blown
fuse
is not a warranty case.
