5.4.7. Switch Control
External switches connected to digital video recorder can be controlled through the switch control
function. The switch won’t follow the latch duration and action delay. It will remain in that state
until a user toggles it again or an event associated with switch action is triggered.

5.4.8. Time Synchronization
The time in TeleEye GN8 can be synchronized with timeserver in the network using the time
synchronization function. GN8 can act as a timeserver if internal time server is enabled.
