What is incoming data service and what is mobile data service?
Ans. : In this installation guide, the incoming data service and mobile data service are
exactly the same, they both mean a dedicated data number for your SIM card for
transmitting data on the GSM network. GPRS is another service for transmitting data
on GSM network, but it doesn’t need a dedicated number. So please specify to your
service provider that you are not applying GPRS, but mobile data service.

How can I check my SIM card support incoming data service?
Ans. : You can take a mobile phone, and then enable the “divert data call” function. If
the divert function failed, then your SIM does not support incoming data service.
Also you can check the correctness of the data number by using another phone to dial
to the data number, then you will hear the ring tone from the divert destination phone.

How can I check the signal strength of
DT-103G
?
Ans. : After
DT-103G
power up for about 10 seconds, you can read the signal
strength from the status LEDs L1, L2 and L3. Also, the PWR LED will blink if the
signal strength is below satisfactory, and it will remain on if the signal strength is
satisfactory or above.
