Section 2 Installation and Setup for Signature
2.1 Installation
External TIENet devices such as the 301 are all electrically con-
nected to the Signature flow meter in the same manner, usually
using conduit or cord-grip cable fittings. Multiple external
TIENet devices can be connected simultaneously.
2.1.1 Connecting the Cable
Refer to your Signature flow meter manual for instructions on
accessing the instrument’s interior components.
WARNING
Before proceeding, ensure that the flow meter has been
disconnected from mains power.
Note
The steps that follow include instructions for installing cord-grip
fittings. Some applications will use user-supplied

1. Remove one of the 6-position plug-in terminal strip connec-
tors from the case board.
