3.2 CONFIGURATION
If you ordered an AVC with a DV-4
tube the configuration should be
“torr and d-4C”.
If you ordered an AVC with a DV-6
tube the configuration should be
“torr and d-6C”.
To check your current configuration
:
3.2.1
Plug the AVC module into either
a DV-4 or DV-6 tube. The tube should
be at atmospheric pressure.
3.2.2
Remove the front bezel and the
front panel. Locate the black push
button in the lower right hand corner.
3.2.3
Turn the MODEL 4/6 ON (or
plug into 115vac). Since the tube is at
atmospheric pressure, the display should
read “_or_” for over range. (It may read
E__0 or some pressure if the MODEL
4/6 is set for the wrong tube.)
3.2.4
Press and release the push button.
The display will read “torr” or “hPA”.
One hPa equals one millibar.
3.2.5
Press and release the push button
again within 10 sec. And the display will
read “d-4C” or “d-6C”.
3.2.6
Press and release the push button
again within 10 sec. The display will
flash the set point pressure. If you know
what your set point pressure should be,
you can adjust to that pressure using the
S.P. potentiometer on top of the AVC
module. The display will remain in the
set point mode until you press and
release the push button again.
3.2.7
Press and release the push button
again and you will return to the pressure
mode and the display will read “_or_”.
If the settings were all correct, the
MODEL 4/6 is ready to measure
