Turn to raise or lower trigger Level (V).  

Push to automatically find the level based on the 

signal mean.
Press SETUP to open the Trigger setup menu.
Use touch menu to choose the trigger type and 

source channel.
Choose a trigger mode to start the acquisition:

  AUTO triggers repeatedly when there is a valid 

trigger or after a preset period when there is 

no valid trigger. 

  NORMAL triggers repeatedly whenever all 

conditions are met.

  SINGLE triggers once when all conditions are 

met.

Trigger type and level settings appear on the 

Trigger status bar.
Trigger status appears in the Acquisition status 

bar.
Press RUN/STOP to stop and restart the 

acquisition.

Triggers tell the oscilloscope when to perform an acquisition. Available trigger types are described at more length in the
