1.6. Connecting the IP camera (20-/21-/50-2907-IP, 43-9587, 50-1207-IP/-1204-IP)
LAN connection
Usually, an RJ-45 connector is used to establish
LAN connection ( ). When operated with the
series 20 IP (20-0001A-IP/-0002A-IP/-0005-IP/
-0013A-IP/-0014A-IP/-0016A-IP/-0041A-IP/
-0043A-IP) basic electronics, the network con-
nection can also be established via the series
20 IP basic electronics. To do so, connect the
camera module's RJ-45 socket to the Series 20
basic electronics's socket marked „Port2“ using
a .patch cable. The SIP door intercom needs to
be supplied via a PeO Class 0.
Power supply
Power for the Behnke IP camera is supplied via
the Ethernet port (PoE class 0). When operated
with the series 20 IP (20-0001A-IP/
-0002A-IP/-0005-IP/-0013A-IP/-0014A-IP/
-0016A-IP/-0041A-IP/-0043A-IP) basic
electronics, power for the camera is supplied
via PoE from the IP basic electronics (please cf.
“Connecting the LAN”).
