Automatic TV-INTERNET switcher for Magic
Sat Easy Internet
This automatic switcher enables Internet navigation by connecting to the satellite
ASTRA 23 or alternatively, TV channel viewing through one of the 7 satellites that
can be selected on the Magic Sat Easy control panel.
Simultaneously with Internet navigation, ASTRA 19 satellite TV channel viewing is
also possible.
Internet navigation instructions
Press the SAT button on the control panel until the LED corresponding to ASTRA 23
begins to flash.
Once searching has been completed, the LED will stop flashing and the display unit
will read “
SAT ”. Wait approximately 1 minute until the modem RX LED lights up to
indicate successful connection to the Internet.
Simultaneously with Internet navigation via a satellite receiver (not supplied),
ASTRA 19 TV channels can also be viewed.
During Internet navigation, however, it will
only be possible to view channels
broadcast by the ASTRA 19 satellite.
Note: to be able to browse the Net you must first have signed a special contract with
Astra2se.
TV channel viewing instructions
To view TV channels broadcast from a satellite, press the SAT button on the Magic Sat
Easy control panel until the required satellite LED (e.g. HOT BIRD) begins to flash.
Once searching has been completed, the LED will stop flashing and the display unit
will read “
SAT ”: via a satellite receiver (not supplied) you will be able to view TV
channels broadcast by the pointed satellite.
