Unbalanced operation is possible by using pins 1 and 3. Do NOT short pin 2 or 3 to ground or
severe distortion will result.
Audio Circuits -
Input
The audio input circuit can be set to have a balanced impedance of 600 Ohm or 10 kOhm. The
audio input circuit can accept a wide range of signal levels by the use of scaling DIP switches
on the input module front panel and also supply 48 VDC for condenser microphone bias; see
Figure 35. Refer to Specifications on page 38 for details.
