The procedure of receive (transmit) frequency entering in double-frequency simplex
mode is similar to described above for simplex mode.
First you should enter recei ing frequency, then press the “

“ key, when the
recei ing frequency entering is finished. Enter the transmission frequency. Press the “
ENT
“
key, when the transmission frequency entering is finished.
2.3.3.2 Mode (Emission Class) Setting from the Front Panel of the Radio.
To enter the mode, press the
“MODE”
key. The display shows indications, as
illustrated in Figure 29.

Select the mode, taking into consideration the following:
a)
If the “
MODE
” key was pressed by mistake and there is no need to change the
mode, press the “
CLR
” key. The mode of operation will not change.
b) To select the emission class, use the
« ↓ », « ↑ » keys to select the menu item,
i.e., the F3E, CVSD mode with technical masking, the CVSD mode without technical
masking. Press the
“ENT”
key. Once you pressed the
“ENT”
key, the
«
٧
» symbol is
displayed to the left from the selected menu item, indicating that the selected option is
switched on.
c) Voice reception (transmission) can be performed, using the headset, or
directly from the transceiver. To select the mode of operation, i.e., from the headset or the
transceiver, press the
«→» key.
