i) During voice communications symbols TLF, and IH , respectively, are shown in
(3, 7), (3, 8), (3, 9) positions.
TLF indicates operation with the headset; receiver output power level is adjustable;

□ indicates operation with the headset; receiver output power level is not
adjustable. In the (3,10) position the
□ symbol is displayed.
IH indicates operation directly from the transceiver; receiver output power level is
adjustable.

(4, 2), (4, 3), (4, 4) positions are assigned for “Rx/Tx” mode indication. In
reception mode the
“RX”
indication is shown in (4, 2), (4, 3), (4, 4) positions, and in
transmitting mode the
“TX”
indication is shown.
In transmitting mode all keys are blocked, i.e. they do not react while pressed. To
unblock them you should deselect the transmitting mode.
k) Positions from (4,14), (4,15) are assigned to indicate about the radio
malfunctions:
- Appearance of column 1-5 in the (4, 14) position indicates about low voltage
of the Battery Pack, i.e., the battery is discharged.
- In (4,14) position letter A appears to indicate malfunction of Power Supply
Unit
- In ( 4,15) position letter R appears to indicate malfunction of the clock battery
or time is not set;
