Settings for Parental control
This setting enables you to password-protect
your box so that for example children cannot
watch TV when they aren’t allowed to. Select
the symbol Parental control in the Halfpipe to set
the lock. To access this setting, you need the PIN
code that is set at the factory.
This code is 1234.
Here you can turn the lock on and off for the en-
tire receiver. You can also lock specific channels
and activate or de-activate the locking of system
menus.
Change PIN code
You can also change the lock code that was set at
the factory (1234) to your own numerical code.
In this case, please save the code for future refer-
ence. Should you lose it, you may contact Cus-
tomer Support for assistance.

TV and audio settings
• TV format: 16:9, 4:3
• Signal: RGB, CVBS
• OSD size: area on the screen for menus and
settings from the box
• Digital Audio Output: several channels, stereo
• Audio delay: shifts sound and video to syn-
chronize them. Normally this is not needed.
High Definition settings

HDMI resolution
: Today HDTV is available
in three formats (picture resolutions) called
1080p, 1080i and 720p, which are named
according to how many horizontal lines the
picture contains. The letter “
i
” stands for
“interlaced scanned” (half-picture system),
and “
p
” stands for “progressive scanned”
(whole-picture system) 1080p and 1080i are
correspond to resolution 1920x1080 pixels
and 720p to 1280x720 pixels.
