Troubleshooting Guide
SYMPTOM
POSSIBLE CAUSE
REMEDY
The LED on the front panel does not
light up.
The receiver is disconnected from the
mains.
Check that the receiver is plugged into
the mains.
The power supply is plugged in but will
not work anyway.
Make sure that the power supply is
functioning. CAUTION: Risk
electric shock!
Lack of signal.
Antenna cable is not connected to the
receiver.
Connect the antenna cable to the
receiver.
Damaged antenna system.
Verify the integrity of your system
(antenna,
coaxial
cable,
signal
distribution devices, etc.).
It is advisable to test the system by
qualified personnel.
The tuned channel is not broadcasting
or is obsolete.
Change channels and / or upgrade or
reinstall the channel list (par.3.2).
No sound and / or images.
Audio volume down or mute.
Increase the audio volume level of the
receiver and the TV.
The receiver is in standby.
Turn on the receiver.
TV switched off or placed on the wrong
channel.
Turn on the TV screen and / or place it on
the correct audio-video channel
Audio-video cable (SCART or HDMI) is
not connected to the TV or damaged.
Restore
the
proper
audio-video
connection.
The resolution of the HDMI receiver is
not compatible with that of the
connected screen.
Connect the receiver via SCART to the
TV, adjust the resolution (para.3.1.3),
And then reconnect the HDMI cable.
You are trying to see an outdated
channel or coded incompatible.
Change channels and / or upgrade or
reinstall the channel list (par. 3.2).
The remote control does not work.
The remote control is in the wrong
operating mode.
Press the STB key par obtain control of
the receiver.
Batteries not inserted or discharged.
Insert the batteries or replace them.
Batteries inserted with the wrong
polarity.
Insert the batteries in the correct
direction. Follow the instructions inside
the battery compartment.
The remote control has fallen and some
component has been damaged.
Contact your dealer to purchase a new
remote control.
Adjustments made in the menu are not
stored.
Not confirmed before changing
settings.
After each change, press any specific
confirmation / save button.
The program information is not
displayed.
The program transmits information
about the event.
The receiver time is not set correctly.
Adjust the receiver time (par. 3.5)
The timer does not start or do not work
properly.
The station broadcasts time data and /
or incorrect data.
The receiver clock is not set correctly. Adjust the receiver time (par.3.5).
The receiver does not respond to the
remote control buttons.
Momentary Receiver lock.
Disconnect the power of the receiver and
plug it back in after a while.
The tuned channel transmits data
inappropriate that block the receiver.
Disconnect the antenna cable, restart
the phone, change the channel, then
connect the antenna.
