1.1
Safety regulations and disposal
To ensure safe use, and for your safety, please read the following advice regarding the security measures.
SUPPLY
•
By interposing the adapter, the receiver must be connected to an outlet of 230V ~ 50Hz current.
•
Do not remove the cover of the receiver. Inside the apparatus may be present voltages higher than the supply voltage that could
endanger the safety of the user. The high voltage is present even when the device is in standby mode, before intervening on the
receiver it is necessary to unplug it from the mains. Unauthorized removal will immediately invalidate the warranty!
POWER CORD
•
Before installing the product, check the integrity of the supply of power cord, paying particular attention to the point where it enters
the power outlet and to the one in which exits from the receiver. If the cable is damaged, do not connect the device and contact the
service center.
•
Install the power cord of the appliance so as not to cause crushing items placed above or next to it. Also, do not place it near any
area where it could be accidentally trampled, torn or otherwise damaged.
•
If the cable is damaged, carefully disconnect the device from the power outlet and contact only qualified personnel or the service
center for replacement.
LIQUIDS
•
Keep the receiver away from any kind of liquid. Do not place the product liquid containers such as vases, humidifiers and so on. The
appliance must not be installed in places where it may come in contact with spray or liquid splashes or in environments with high
humidity where condensation could occur.
•
In the case in which the receiver should accidentally come into contact with liquid, immediately remove the plug from the socket. DO
NOT TOUCH the receiver with his hands before it has been disconnected.
SMALL OBJECTS
•
Keep away from the receiver pins or other small items. The fall of objects inside the device, through the slits for ventilation, can
cause serious damage.
CLEANING
•
Before proceeding to cleaning operations, unplug the receiver from the wall outlet.
•
To clean the outside of the receiver, use a soft, dry or lightly moistened with water. Avoid using chemicals or solvents.
VENTILATION
•
Make sure that the place of installation of the device there is a good air circulation to allow a sufficient heat dissipation and to prevent
overheating.
•
To allow adequate ventilation, it is appropriate to provide for a minimum distance of 10 cm from both sides and a distance of 15 cm
above the appliance.
•
The ventilation slots must be free, not obstructed by the presence of objects such as newspapers, tablecloths, furnishing fabrics,
curtains, carpets etc.
•
Avoid placing the receiver near heat sources (radiators, stoves, etc.) or on top of other equipment that produce heat (amplifiers, video
recorders, etc.).
WARNING!
•
Keep this product out of reach of children.
•
The packaging Plastic bags can be dangerous. To avoid suffocation keep the bags away from children.
•
Do not expose the receiver or the remote control to direct sunlight.
•
The device must be placed on a solid and stable base.
•
Connect the device to the power supply only after completing the installation.
DISPOSAL
•
The crossed-out rubbish symbol indicates that it is not dispose of this product in 'environment or throw it in the mixed municipal
waste. Who does not respect this rule it is punishable according to current legislation.
•
A correct disposal will help prevent potential damage to the environment and human health, as well as facilitating the recycling of
components and materials contained in it, with a consequent saving of energy and resources.
•
The manufacturer establishes a system for recovery of Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Product subject to
separate collection and treatment systems, using equipment in accordance with current provisions.
•
Bring the product unusable (and any accessories, including the battery) at a collection center authorized to manage electronic waste.
Alternatively, it is possible to return to the dealer the equipment used or end of life, when purchasing a new equivalent type or free
of charge in the case of domestic appliances with external dimensions of less than 25 cm.
