2.3 Remote control  

Get well acquainted with your remote control and you will find it much easier to navigate through the various 
menu options. The buttons have very easy, user-friendly functions. 

CAUTION 
Make sure that the remote control batteries are inserted in the right direction. Check their polarity on the back of the 
battery cover. 
Use 2 x AAA type batteries 

2.3.1  Remote control buttons and functions 

 
1. 

 

ON/STAND BY

  It switch on/off the receiver. 

2. 

PVR REC

  To record into a USB external support the current digital 

terrestrial free channel 

3. 

PVR LIST

  To access to the folder of recorded files 

4. 

   Mute function. It disables the audio output into receiver. 

5. 

EPG

  It displays the electronic guide of programs (EPG)

 

6. 

INFO

 

 It displays information about current channel. 

7. 

TTX

  It displays the teletext function if transmitted. 

8. 

AUDIO

  It allows to choose the preferred audio languages 

transmitted.

 

9. 

DTV/VCR

  It changes from TV and VCR function and vice versa

 

10. 

SUB

 

 It allows to select the language of subtitles transmitted

 

11. 

MENU

  To access to the system configuration menu. 

12. 

EXIT

 To quit the current function or menu. 

13. 

ARROW

 

 / 

 

a.  In viewing mode: next/previous channel. 
b.  In menu mode: navigate and modify menu items/options.

a.  In viewing mode: volume up/down. 
b.  In menu mode: navigate and modify menu items/options.

a.  In viewing mode: Channel list menu.  
b.  In menu mode: Confirm option/changes.

FAV

  

It opens the favourite channel list.

TV/RADIO

  Swaps between TV and RADIO program receiver 

mode.

Numeric keys to change channel. 

19. 

RECALL

  It recalls the previous channel selected.

GOTO

   

During a playing of multimedial file it allows to select a 

specific chapter, title or track

REV

  

Fast backwards playing

FWD

  

Fast forward playing

PREV

  

To select previous chapter, title, track, image 

24. 

NEXT

  

To select next chapter, title, track, image 

25. 

PLAY

  

To play a multimedial file

PAUSE

  

Freezes the current image of current digital terrestrial free 

channel or pauses the image during multimedial slide show

 

27. 

STOP

  To stop temporarily the playing. Two times to stop the 

current multimedial playing.

 

28. 

REPEAT

  To repeat the current title, chapter, track, image slide 

show

 

29. 

RED

  Teletext function key. It is used also during multimedial 

playing.

 

30. 

GREEN

  It changes the video resolution or function key into 

teletext. It is used also during multimedial playing.

 

31. 

YELLOW

  It changes the aspect ratio or function key into teletext. It 

is used also during multimedial playing.

 

32. 

BLUE

  It open the timer function. It is used also during multimedial
