Place the PMC card in the slot by fitting it into the space on the device’s rear panel first, followed by the two
PMC connectors. Take care not to force any piece or part of the device. Check that the board is firmly seated in
the PMC connectors.

Screw the PMC board to the posts using two screws and two washers. Firmly tighten the screws without dam-
aging the board.
(10) Close the device using the cover removed in step 3. To do this, place the cover on top of the device, without
completely closing it, some 10 mm from the front panel. Check that the cover is sitting properly. Finally, slide the
cover along in order to close up the device checking that the sides adjust below the front panel. Secure the cov-
er using the screws mentioned in step 3.
(11) Plug in and switch on the device (see
General Installation
on page 4). Check that the device boots as described
in section 2.4. If you detect a problem, turn the device off and make sure that the above steps have been car-
ried out correctly. If the problem persists, contact your supplier.
(12) Connect a terminal to the console and check that the device detects the PMC board. This information is dis-
played at startup, as shown in the following figure.
