NOTE
For 10/100BaseTX ports, use twisted pair, 100 Ohm CAT 5 or UTP CAT 5.
You must use the most flexible cables available in order to make the task of
routing them inside the cabinet easy and to prevent damage to the unit.
1.
Remove the large black rubber grommet located at the bottom right side of
the cabinet (see

Use a pencil point to punch a small hole in the center of entrance circles.
3.
Feed the cable(s) through the newly punched grommet hole.
4.
Place the grommet back into its original position.
5.
Route the cable(s) underneath the black plastic arm and over the gateway
board and then connect the cable(s) to the LAN RJ-45 connector(s) on the
gateway board, as shown in

Pull on the LAN cable(s) from outside the cabinet to remove unnecessary
cable slack. This ensures that the cabinet cover can be closed without
exerting undue force on the cover.
7.
Use a plastic tie-wrap to keep the cables in one bundle.

Connecting the Phone Lines to the Gateway Board
The user must connect the voice communication cables to the Phone connectors on the gateway
board.
