6.7.2 Installing the Sash Low proximity switch
The Sash Low Proximity Switch is an inductive switch that operates when it comes within
range of a metal plate attached to the sash, i.e. when the sash is closed.
The type of switch selected makes or breaks the circuit when the sash is closed. Typically,
the switch would be fitted so that the switch is closed when the sash is open.
Connect the Sash Low Proximity Switch to the Auto Sash Control Unit (Figure 52). See
the wiring schematic in section 6.10 and Figure 31.
