Removal and Replacement Procedures
Rear Panel
The rear panel is formed by the chassis and the individual module rear panels,
which overlap and are bolted together. (See Figure 4-4 on page 4-26.)

Composite Board (Option
CPS)
The Composite board, if installed, is located in the right module bay. (See
Figure 4-4 on page 4-26.)
1.
Remove the four T-15 screws securing the Composite module to the rear panel.
2.
Lift the Composite module out of the instrument, rocking it gently until the
connector separates from J20 on the Main board. It may help to loosen the
adjacent rear panel screws.
SDI or EYE/PHY board
The SDI board (or EYE/PHY board if Option EYE or PHY is installed) is located
in the right center module bay. (See Figure 4-4 on page 4-26.)

Remove the three T-15 screws securing the module to the rear panel.
2.
Lift the module out of the instrument, rocking it gently until the connector
separates from J16 on the Main board. It may help to loosen the adjacent
rear panel screws.
