Installation

Mounting the Adapter

Although there is no rackmount kit available speci

fi

cally for the adapter,

you can mount the adapter to a surface, such as an existing rackmount
tray or a bracket of your design, by doing the following procedure:

1.

Remove the four adhesive-backed, plastic feet from the adapter.

2.

Refer to the dimensions shown in the illustration, and drill holes in
the mounting surface for two screws.

3.

Mount the adapter using two 6-32 screws of appropriate length.

NOTE.

If you are installing the RM4000 rackmount kit for a DPO4000

Series instrument, the kit has provisions for mounting accessories, such as
the adapter.
