5. Use Steps 6 through Step 16 to set the printer’s IP address.
6. Press the
Menu
button. The front panel displays

If the menu does not display as
anticipated, it may be “locked.” In order
to access the menu if it is locked, hold
down the Menu button and press the Exit
button. The front panel will display the
following message:

If the menu is not used for five minutes,
the printer will return to the Ready state.
7. Identify an IP address to be assigned to the printer and make an entry for this
address in the /etc/hosts file.
8. Enter the Network Settings menu by pressing the right (=>) or left (<=) arrow
buttons until the front panel displays
Network Settings.
9. Press the
Menu
button until the front panel displays
Enable Interface.
10. Press the right (=>) button and the front panel will display
IP Address
