Module Removal

ed personnel should perform service procedures. Before
performing this or any other procedure in this manual, read the General Safety
Summary and Service Safety Summary located at the beginning of this manual.
Also, to prevent possible injury to service personnel or damage to electrical
components, read Preventing ESD. (See page 9, Preventing ESD.)
To work on the instrument, place it face down in its protective front cover. You
can remove the tabs from the cover if you want to make it easy to move the
instrument in and out of the cover while working on it.

To remove as assembly, refer to the module locator illustration. (See Figure 3
on page 14.)
You can also refer to the exploded view diagrams and parts lists. (See page 21,
.) The parts lists show how many of each type of screw is
used to attach each replaceable module.
If you are disassembling the instrument for cleaning, refer to the
Inspection and
Cleaning
procedure for instructions. (See page 9,
WARNING.
Before performing any procedure in this subsection, disconnect the
power cord from the line voltage source. Failure to do so could cause serious
injury or death.
Required Equipment
You will need a Torx driver with a T-15 Torx tip to remove instrument screws.
