Output Stage
A
transistorized
power
output
stage is
used
to
deliver
the
output current
of
the
Step
Amplifier
because
of
the relatively
large
regulated
currents
which
must
sometimes
be
applied
to
the
input
of
the transistor
under
test.
Since
the
Step
Ampli
fier
must
furnish
high
current
of
either
polarity,
a floating
power
supply
is
used in
the
output
stage.
