Sensor Application Configuration
Note
: Care must be taken to avoid stranding the Sensor during reconfiguration. If all Sensor
transducers are disabled, the Sensor cannot be reconfigured.
3.4.1
Periodic Tx Configuration
All periodic transducer reporting
is synchronized around ‘ticks’. A
tick
is simply a user
configurable time-base that is used to schedule transducer measurements. For each transducer,
the number of elapsed
ticks
before transmitting can be defined.
Note:
Certain transducer types, such as accelerometer and light, need to be enabled for
periodic reporting. Details are available in each
transducer’s
respective section. Table 3-3 shows
a list of registers used to configure the Sensor’s periodic transmissions.
