This appliance is designed for domestic use and must only be used in accordance with the instructions given.
Keep your hand away from the steam coming out of the appliance and always hold the appliance by the
handle.
If the water heater is overfilled, boiling water may spring out.
Always install the appliance in a grounded outlet.
It is recommended to show utmost care when the appliance is used in the presence of children and persons
with low physical, sensory and mental abilities.
Keep the electrical appliances out of reach of the children and persons with health impairment. Do not let
such people use the appliance without supervision.
The appliance may be used by children under age 8 and persons with low physical, perceptual and mental
abilities or with experience and knowledge deficits only under supervision or if instructed for safe use of the
appliance and upon understanding of the associated hazards that may be encountered. Children must not
play with the appliance.
Do not use the appliance next to or near any source of heat.
Do not operate the appliance with damaged network cable. In case of recognition of such event, contact
Groupe SEB authorised service. Use your appliance within the voltage range stated. Using at lower or higher
voltage values would damage your appliance.
Prevent the electrical cable from entrapment, curling or friction with sharp edges in order to avoid damage.
Keep the electrical cable away from hot surfaces and bare flame.
Always use the appliance on flat and dry surfaces.
Do not use the appliance with extension cables.
Never try to separate or displace the mounted parts of the appliance.
Plug out the appliance before cleaning and dry completely after cleaning.
Do not poke the appliance or its electrical cable into water.
Never poke the appliance, its bottom unit or electrical cable into water or any other liquid.
The appliance is designed for only boiling water. It may not be used for boiling other liquids; otherwise it may
pose hazards.
Do not touch the surface or the heating plate without making sure that they have cooled down.
The appliance is designed and manufactured for domestic use. It is not suitable for professional and
commercial use. However, it can be used in customer rooms in hotel type enterprises. It is not suitable for
outdoor and industrial use.
Do not use the appliance for any purpose except of its purpose.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
a.
Before Operating
Keep the power off when the water heater is not containing water or when it is not used.
The main switch must not be turned on without any water in the water heater or when water is below the
minimum limit.
Take the appliance out of the transmission bottom while filling the tea machine with water.
When the boiling / heat stabilising switch is on (in
position), necessarily the teapot or cap must be on the
water heating part. Otherwise, the appliance would sense that the water has boiled and shift into energy
saving mode.
