• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in
a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children should
not be allowed to play with the appliance. Children should not
clean or perform maintenance on the appliance unless they are
supervised by a responsible adult.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of children under
8 years old.
• Only use your barbecue at least one metre away from flammable
materials (partition walls, cladding, curtains etc...).
• Exposed surfaces may be hot when the appliance is in use.
Do not touch the hot surfaces of the appliance.
• Make sure that the electric power supply is compatible with
the power rating and voltage indicated on the bottom of the
appliance.
• This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an
external timer or separate remote-control system.
• To ensure safety, if the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by a special cord or assembly available from the manufacturer or
its service agent.
• Only the plug or a suitable connector plug should be used.
• Do not immerse this appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not
place the element, the control housing or the power cord in water
or any other liquid.
• Remove the power cord connector and element before cleaning.
Ensure that the connector sleeve (page 45, Fig 6) is completely dry
before reassembly and further use.
• Regular cleaning is necessary to avoid the build-up of grease on
the grill and in the pan.
