5. To straighten your hair, select a small hair strand,
properly grab the appliance with your right hand and
put the hair strand in between the plates so that they are
directed towards the head. Gently close the straightener
and slowly pull it down.
• Exercise caution when straightening not to touch your
body with the appliance.
• It is important to slowly pull down the straightener so
that each hair can be evenly heated. Please remember
though not to keep the hair in between the plates too
long as to avoid burning and damaging the hair.
• Do not clamp the straightener too hard as to avoid
creases.
6. Repeat the above steps to style the rest of the hair.
7. When you have finished using the appliance, press and
hold the ON/OFF button to turn off the appliance and
disconnect it from power mains.
8. Prior to cleaning and storing the appliance, make sure
that it has cooled down completely.
9. Clean and store the appliance as described in the
“Cleaning and storage” section.

2. To curl the hair on the right side, select a small hair
strand, properly grab the straightener with your right
hand and put the hair strand in between the plates so
that the curved plate is directed towards the head at the
45° angle.
3. Gently clamp the straightener and turn the wrist*
towards you so that you can see the curved plate in
the mirror in front of you. Let the rest of the hair fall
completely over the back of the straightener then grab
