OPERATION
HOLDING THE STRAIGHTENER
Independently if you are going to straighten or curl your
hair, starting position for the straightener is always the same.
Always hold your straightener in your right hand so that the
ON/OFF button is behind your thumb and you can see both
plates.
TIPS BEFORE STYLING:
• Prior to styling, make sure that hair is dry and combed
through.
• The hair stand cannot be wider than the length of the plates.
• Make sure that the hair strands are not twisted. The more
fanned out and flat are the strands, the better curling
results.
1. Connect the plug of the power cord to the power supply
socket.
2. Turn on the straightener by pressing the ON/OFF button.
3. The appliance has 5 temperature settings: 140°C, 160°C,
180°C, 200°C and 230°C. Keep pressing the temperature
switch to select the desired setting. Blue indicator will
light on next to the selected temperature setting.
4. When the appliance is heating, the indicators flash.
The straightener heats up to 180°C within 1 minute
and it takes about 3 minutes to heat up to 230°C. The
straightener reached selected temperature and is ready
to be used when the indicators stop flashing.
Lower temperatures are recommended for weak and fine
hair. Use higher temperature settings for normal, thick or
curly hair.
