Safety Precau ti ons
Water may leak into the appliance adversely a ffe c ti ng the electric insula tio n and cause electric shock and/
or fi re by short-circui ti ng.

Do not use the appliance for special purposes, such as preserva ti on of food, art works etc.
This may nega ti vely a ff ect the quality of the items stored.

If there is a possibility that the temperature around the drainage hose ( fi eld supplied) could drop to
freezing point.
Water inside the hose may freeze and prevent the water from flo wing out. The water may leak
from the appliance and damage surrounding objects.

Do not block the drainage outlet or con ti nuous drainage hose ( fi eld supplied).

If using the appliance or fi xed drainage for a long ti me ensure the internal and external
drain is clear.
When using the appliance aft er a long period of ti me or when draining water con ti nuously for a long ti me
with no assistance, check the unit periodically for foreign objects, etc. that could clog the hose resul ti ng
in heat genera ti on and/or a water leakage.

Do not use the appliance in places that may be subject to oil or fl ammable gas leakage.
Such a leakage around the appliance may cause combus ti on and fi re.

Do not wash the appliance with water.
It may cause an electric shock.
WARNING

Do not use the appliance where it is likely to come in contact with water.
Exposure to water may result in fi re or electric shock caused by a leak of electricity.

All electrical work should be carried out by a suitably quali fi ed and competent person, in strict
accordance with current na ti onal and local safety regula ti ons.
For extra safety it is advisable to install a suitable residual current device (RCD). Contact a quali fi ed
electrician for advice.

Ensure power is not supplied to the appliance un til a ft er installa ti on work has been carried out.

The appliance is supplied with a mains cable with moulded plug ready for connec ti on to a single
phase power supply within a voltage range of 220~240V/50Hz.

Please ensure the electrical connec ti on data plate informa ti on match the household mains supply.

Connec ti on should be made via a suitable switched socket which is easily accessible a ft er installa ti on.
