Safety Precau Ɵ ons
Water may leak into the appliance adversely a īĞ c Ɵ ng the electric insula ƟŽ n and cause electric shock and/
or Į re by short-circui Ɵ ng.
Do not use the appliance for special purposes, such as preserva Ɵ on of food, art works etc.
This may nega Ɵ vely a ī ect the quality of the items stored.
If there is a possibility that the temperature around the drainage hose ( Į eld supplied) could drop to
freezing point.
Water inside the hose may freeze and prevent the water from ŇŽ wing out. The water may leak
from the appliance and damage surrounding objects.
Do not block the drainage outlet or con Ɵ nuous drainage hose ( Į eld supplied).
If using the appliance or Į xed drainage for a long Ɵ me ensure the internal and external
drain is clear.
When using the appliance ĂŌ er a long period of Ɵ me or when draining water con Ɵ nuously for a long Ɵ me
with no assistance, check the unit periodically for foreign objects, etc. that could clog the hose resul Ɵ ng
in heat genera Ɵ on and/or a water leakage.
Do not use the appliance in places that may be subject to oil or Ň ammable gas leakage.
Such a leakage around the appliance may cause combus Ɵ on and Į re.
Do not wash the appliance with water.
It may cause an electric shock.
WARNING
Do not use the appliance where it is likely to come in contact with water.
Exposure to water may result in Į re or electric shock caused by a leak of electricity.
All electrical work should be carried out by a suitably quali Į ed and competent person, in strict
accordance with current na Ɵ onal and local safety regula Ɵ ons.
For extra safety it is advisable to install a suitable residual current device (RCD). Contact a quali Į ed
electrician for advice.
Ensure power is not supplied to the appliance un Ɵů a Ō er installa Ɵ on work has been carried out.
The appliance is supplied with a mains cable with moulded plug ready for connec Ɵ on to a single
phase power supply within a voltage range of 220~240V/50Hz.
Please ensure the electrical connec Ɵ on data plate informa Ɵ on match the household mains supply.
Connec Ɵ on should be made via a suitable switched socket which is easily accessible a Ō er installa Ɵ on.
