12- DISPOSAL
This equipment complies with the European Directive 2002/96/CE on waste electrical
and electronic equipment (WEEE). By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you
will help prevent potential negative consequences to the environment and human
health, which could otherwise arise from improper handling of the product at the end
of its service life. The symbol indicates that the product should not be disposed of like
normal waste, but it should be sent to the nearest authorised waste collection centre for
electrical and electronic equipment. Disposal must be carried out in accordance with the
applicable environmental regulations for waste disposal. The equipment must be properly
prepared (disinfection/sterilisation) before dismantling/disposal. For more information on
the treatment, recovery and recycling of this product, please contact the Ecology and
Environment Department or your local waste collection service or your dental equipment
distributor. Illegal dumping of the product by the user entails the administrative sanctions
stated by current legislation.
