6.4.11 - CALCULATION OF FLOW RATE FOR DIFFERENT TABLES
CAUTION
Risk of errors in the flow rate calculations!
For sprayers equipped with a regulation system with a flow meter, only use volumes/ha
calculated with a density of 1
Unless stated the flow rates are calculated with a density of 1 and a distance between
nozzles of 0.5m

nozzle flow rate, in litres / min.
Q: volume of liquid to be sprayed in litres / hectare,
V: advance speed in kph
Example: if there is 450 l / ha to be sprayed at 5.5
kph
(distance between nozzles: 0.5 m)

= 2,06 l / min.

Choice of nozzle and pressure setting in function of

For a different density of liquid, calculate the
