Do not use the sling if it appears torn, worn, frayed or distorted.
Do not use the end blue loops – these are safety attachments in case any of the other loops should break.

MAINTENANCE Recommended 30ºC wash using neutral soap. Do not bleach or dry-clean. Do not iron. Dry on a
flat surface. Do not expose to direct sunlight or any source of heat. Do not tumble dry.

5.2.- Positioning of sling to patient, sitting in a chair, wheelchair or lateral of bed.
Inclining the patient to the front and checking if he is well-fastened to reduce risk of fall and to be the patient
secure.
Put sling under the back of patient, in the middle, with the opening in symmetrical position with the axis of
vertebral column.
Adjust the belt for better security.
5.3.- Fastening of sling to patient handle
Move the hoist closer with opened legs around the patient, in such a way he can put his feet in the platform
without risk of injury.
With the caster blocked, put off arms of patient outside the sling´s tapes and fastening this into the handle, and
choose the correct height (red, green or yellow).
For make it easier, is better if the arm of hoist is in his low position avoiding strain in the tapes.
5.4.- Raising up of patient
Before lifting the patient, recliner patient´s back and check if the sling is correctly fastened. If some element
is not correct, take down the patient and correct the problem.
Is not recommendable blocked back caster when you are lifting a patient, to reduce risk of knock over the
hoist. If the caster are not blocked during the raising (or descent) the hoist can stabilize by own selves.
Use the remote control for lifting the patient.
5.5.- Transport of patient
During the transport, with the patient in sling, DO NOT slide the hoist in irregular floor because could knock
over the hoist.
ALWAYS use the handle to move the hoist. Move patient with the legs closed.
5.6.- Descent patient
Move hoist until (wheelchair, chair, toilet, bed…) where you want put the patient.
Use remote control for lifting.
Be sure that the patient is in secure place
