NIGHT MODE
– When the

in memory in
tuner mode.
-Press to playback
disc3 in DVD/CD
mode.
FM MODE/ DISC2 PLAY
-In tuner mode, press to select stereo
or monaural mode for FM.
-Press to playback disc2 in DVD/CD mode.
PAUSE
-Pauses the disc in DVD/CD mode.
STOP
-IN DVD/CD mode,
press twice to stop
the disc.
TONE
-Press to turn tone on
and off and to adjust
bass and treble.
(see page 12 HOW
TO ADJUST TONE).
TUNING/PRESET
– Repeatedly
press to tune to AM or FM stations
and select preset stations in tuner
mode. (SKIP +/-, SCAN +/-)
– Use to adjust bass and treble
when in tone control mode.
BAND/
DISC1 PLAY
-Press to select
AM or FM band
in tuner mode.
-Press to play-
back disc 1
in DVD/CD mode.
DISC 1, 2, 3
– Press to open or
close the disc trays.
Note: These buttons only operate when
the function knob is set to DVD/CD.
– Press
once to dim the
display panel. Press
again to return it to normal.
TUNING MODE
In tuner mode, press to switch between preset and manual tuning
(see “Switching Between Preset Stations and Manual Tuning” on
Page 11).
DTS
– Press to switch
to 5.1 Channel DTS
from stereo mode.
DOLBY DIGITAL
– Press to
switch to 5.1 Channel Dolby
Digital from stereo mode.
SURROUND MODE
Press to switch surround
modes between PRO LOGIC, PRO LOGIC II MOVIE,
PRO LOGIC II MUSIC, THEATER, HALL and STADIUM.
STEREO
–
Press to switch
from surround
mode to stereo
mode.
In Dolby Digital
mode, press to
downmix to stereo.
FUNCTION
– Rotate to select the
desired audio or audio/video
source. The selected source name
appears on the display panel.
VOLUME — Rotate
to set the desired
volume.
