CHARGING YOUR TECHOBE BT301
Your Techobe comes partially charged. It is recommended to
fully charge your speaker before use. To charge the Techobe use
the mini USB cable included in the package with your speaker.
Connect the mini USB part of the plug to the ‘IN 5V’ on the
speaker. Connect the other end (USB end of the cable) to any
USB port. This can be the USB port on a computer, wall adaptor
or car charger.
Once connected the Techobe will automatically charge. A red light
blinking on the control panel will indicate that the speaker is charging.
Red light will turn off once the speaker is fully charged. A full charge
takes approximately 2 hrs. Partial charging will not affect the life of
the battery. Do not store the Techobe with a dead battery.
Note:
You can charge the Techobe BT301 speaker and play
audio at the same time.
USING YOUR SPEAKER
1.
Turn ON Your Techobe BT301 Speaker
Press and hold the power button for 3 full seconds. The LED
lights ON the control panel (top of the speaker) will light up.
The Bluetooth LED light will be flashing rapidly until you pair
your device.
Note:
To disable the top controls (for portable mode) press the
power button quickly. To enable back top controls press the power
button quickly.
2. Connect / Pair Techobe BT301 Speaker to a Bluetooth
Device with / without NFC
You should only need to pair your Bluetooth device with your
speaker one time. The next time your Bluetooth device and the
speaker are in range of each other, and the Bluetooth feature on
your device is turned on, they should automatically connect.
The Techobe speaker
will only automatically connect to the last
Bluetooth device it was connected to. If your paired device does
not automatically connect, go to the Bluetooth menu on your
device and select “Techobe BT301” from the list. If you have an
NFC enabled device, make sure the NFC functionality is turned
ON (on your device) and simply hover over the NFC area on the
Techobe Bluetooth speaker.
Note:
Your Techobe BT301 Speaker can pair with and remember
multiple Bluetooth devices; however it can only connect with one
device at a time. While the speaker is connected to a device
another device will not be able to see Techobe BT301 listing in its
Bluetooth menu if that device has never connected to the speaker
before.
