Congratulations on the purchase of the
NMEA 2000 WiFi Replicator!
The
NMEA 2000 WiFi Replicator
lets you connect your PC’s, Mac’s, tablets, or smartphones
to an NMEA 2000® network so you can monitor and control your vessel using the App or
PC/Mac Software. The conventional way of viewing NMEA 2000® information is with a
display on the vessel that is directly wired connected to an NMEA 2000® network, but with
the
Replicator
you are not limited to direct connected displays, nor the number of devices
and nor cable connections. With the
Replicator
, you can use any device running suitable
App or Software to monitor and control your vessel from onboard or ashore*.
For operation, there is no additional license required. Up to four users at a time can access
your NMEA network from home* or onboard, providing that the necessary software of the
electronic devices is supported. The
Replicator
is already initialized and ready for use when
delivered. Just a little configuration inside the existing environment in accordance with the
integrated setup wizard is required. The
Replicator
can be used both as an access point or
as a station in an already existent WIFI-network.
The
Replicator
is designed to operate within the harsh demands of the marine
environment. However, no piece of marine electronic equipment can function properly
unless installed, configured and maintained in the correct manner. Please read carefully
and follow these instructions for installation, configuration, and usage of the
Replicator
in
order to ensure optimal performance.
